Welcome to all choral music amateurs!

La Société chorale de Saint-Lambert/The St. Lambert Choral Society is a bilingual mixed choir that was founded in 1891. The choir interprets a variety of musical styles that include major classical repertory, sacred works, songs from many different cultures, musicals/operetta and popular songs. The choristers are both adults and students of all ages, all with a desire to share the rich experience that comes with choral singing, and to challenge themselves musically. They are privileged to share this love of music with the St-Lambert and South Shore community.

The St. Lambert Choral Society, one of the oldest choirs in Quebec, is proud to contribute to the cultural life of St. Lambert and its surrounding communities and this, since 1891.

JOY!!!

The St.Lambert Choral Society is very pleased about its participation in the Classical Spree 2017 of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal.

The SLCS is proud to have been selected along with 6 other choirs from Quebec to participate in the closing concert on Sunday August 13th, at 11 a.m., at the Maison Symphonique de Montréal.

As the first part of the concert, each invited choir has been performing for about ten minutes, under the direction of its conductor, in our case Xavier Brossard-Ménard for the St.Lambert Choral Society.

For the second portion of the concert, the choirs have joined together to sing the Ode to Joy, from Beethoven's 9th Symphony, with Kent Nagano as Conductor.
